Richard delivers training workshop and coaching sessions to Sales teams to help drive better results to organisations in the U.K and Europe.
Richard is on the quest of eternal development joined the L& D industry in 1994 as a training consultant and after a successful period became a Director of that business.
In 2004 Richard took the leap to start his own company, TalkSales Europe Limited, which specialises in coaching and mentoring Sales Teams. In this time has delivered over 17,500 training sessions and Workshops with over 60,000 hours of delivery time.


His style has always been to not’ talk the talk’ but ‘walk the walk’ with Salespeople to show them by doing it not just talking about it, this to help anchor in the learning points by working at the ‘coal face’
Many of Richard’s customers have been clients for over 20 years.
He loves to see the impact the sessions have on Salespeople and the legacy this leaves to help drive them to more sales and more success.
The words ‘Passion’ and ‘enthusiasm’ are often linked to Richard style by many of his delegates that have attended his speeches and workshops.
Richard joined toastmasters in 2012 and is this time served in many roles including President in 2015, this along with winning many awards both at club and district level. In 2020 Richard was awarded Honorary Membership to Toastmasters for his commitment and dedication for the organisation.
Speaking Style
In 2019 Richard suffered a traumatic brain injury which meant a total life reset and ‘re-learning how to walk, learning how to talk and learning how to eat again. His journey through recovery is the subject of a book Richard is currently writing to share how positivity and resilience where critical to accelerate the recovery, this combined with the unbelievable support from his family.
As a result of the Injury, Richard has really invested in learning about Neuroscience (how the brain works) with many of the take-outs transferred to his ‘day job’ with salespeople
Richard’s delivery style is totally interactive and engaging to help connect with audiences even better and have maximum impact.
On a personal note
A Love for gardening to help unwind and relax, along with a passion for Bay Trees. Really enjoy watching tennis (yet to go to Wimbledon !) and a real passion for Football and Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Favourite book is ‘Think and Grow Rich’ written by Napoleon Hill in 1937, reading this was a big catalyst starting my own company.
