Steve Catchick is the founder of The Secret Salesforce Programme and is known as The Secret Salesforce Strategist. He equips businesses to develop a team of Brand Ambassadors in order to drive engagement, reduce churn and contribute to profit.
His award- winning customer service programme at IBM, contributed to a substantial increase in sales, customer satisfaction scores and a record high employee morale. On one occasion, as the senior account engineer working on customer site, he took back a £1/4m contract to the company. He knows what it takes to win sales through service. Steve spent more than 25 years at the front line of customer service, mostly with technology companies.
He speaks, coaches and runs masterclasses to business leaders, organisations and SME’s, in a conversational and inter-active style, on the customer experience, sales through service, managing difficult conversations, and presenting powerfully.
Everyone in an organisation is in some way, in sales, in service and should contribute to profit. The Secret Salesforce helps develop loyalty, retention and attract new customers by focusing on the customer experience.
On a personal note.
Steve is a military veteran, having served 11 years in HM Forces. On one occasion whilst on military manoeuvres in Canada, he managed to hold up a live battle single handed, but that’s a story for another day!
Fun, friendly and engaging, when he’s not working, he can be found listening or dancing to Rock’n’roll and Swing bands. He loves the big band sound and sometimes brings his love of music and dancing in to his speeches. In his younger years he used to be a DIY fanatic, although today the mind is willing but the body not so much!
In 2004/2005 he took a gap year to backpack alone through SE Asia and New Zealand. He managed to fracture his ankle paragliding from a mountain in Queenstown New Zealand. His catchphrase is “Gap years are far too good for kids.”
Steve has been member of Toastmasters International since 2005 where he is a Distinguished Toastmaster and belongs to two clubs. He has also been a member of the professional Speaking Association for 11 years and was past regional President for the Thames Valley Region.
